OUR APPROACH

From Recovered Plastic to Infrastructure

Every grade of AREL geotextile is manufactured from recycled post-consumer PET — the same material found in plastic bottles and packaging. Rather than entering landfill or the environment, this recovered plastic is processed into high-performance non-woven polyester fibres.

Once installed in a road, drainage system, or earthwork, our geotextiles perform for the life of the structure — typically 25 to 50 years. The material that was once a single-use plastic item becomes a permanent, load-bearing component of infrastructure.

Wide-width 4.5 m rolls also reduce the number of seam overlaps required on site, which means less material waste and faster installation — a practical sustainability benefit on every project.
